Use the click test and compare physical presses with registered events.

Check cable and radio path
Move the cable gently at strain points or place the receiver close without changing click cadence.

When missed raw clicks follow the mouse across PCs, use warranty service or qualified switch replacement.

Replace the cable, receiver placement, or hub only when the failure follows that component.
