Windows and Alt Keys Are Swapped: Check Mac Mode

Restore swapped Windows and Alt keys by checking the keyboard’s Windows/Mac hardware mode and onboard layer.

Quick diagnosis

If the printed Alt key opens Start and the printed Windows key behaves like Alt, the keyboard is probably sending its Mac modifier layout.

Move a clearly labeled Mac/Windows switch to Windows while the keyboard is disconnected if the manual requires it.
