Mouse DPI Analyzer
A precise tool to measure your mouse's actual DPI. Unlike standard tests, this analyzer uses screen calibration to ensure 1:1 physical accuracy.
How it Works
Most browser-based DPI tests fail because they don't know your screen's pixel density (PPI). This tool solves that with a two-step process:
- Calibration: You match a physical object (like a credit card) to the screen. This tells us exactly how many pixels are in an inch on your specific monitor.
- Mirroring: We show you a target distance (e.g., 1 inch) that is physically accurate on your screen. You simply move your mouse that exact distance on your mousepad.
Why Measure DPI?
- Verify Manufacturer Claims: Budget mice often advertise inflated DPI numbers. Check if you're getting what you paid for.
- Troubleshoot Issues: If your aim feels "off" or inconsistent, your mouse might be suffering from DPI deviation.
- Match Settings: Ensure your new mouse matches the feel of your old one by verifying they are running at the same true DPI.
