Improve Cursor Visibility in Dark Mode
Dark mode saves eyes, but a dark cursor disappears on a dark background. Here is how to ensure your pointer always stands out.
Use Inverted Scheme
Windows
Windows has a Inverted system scheme. Go to Settings → Personalization → Themes → Mouse Cursor and select Windows Black or Inverted. The Inverted cursor changes color based on what is behind it, ensuring maximum contrast.
macOS
macOS cursors have a white outline by default, but you can increase cursor size or changing the fill color in Accessibility → Display → Pointer settings.
📍 Use Locator Shortcuts
Open Mouse Properties (search 'Mouse' in Start Menu), go to the Pointer Options tab, and check Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key.
