CPS stands for Clicks Per Second. It is a metric used to measure how fast you can click a mouse button in one second. It is a common benchmark in gaming, especially in Minecraft PvP and FPS games.

The average person clicks at about 6-7 CPS. A score above 8 CPS is considered fast. Professional gamers often reach 10-12 CPS with normal clicking, and much higher with special techniques.

World records vary by time frame. For a standard 10-second test using drag clicking, records can exceed 30+ CPS. However, consistently clicking above 15 CPS in normal usage is extremely rare without techniques like drag or butterfly clicking.

Practice is key. You can also try techniques like Jitter Clicking (vibrating your arm) or Butterfly Clicking (using two fingers). A gaming mouse with light switches can also help reduce fatigue and improve speed.
